Ok so you have heard about people here and there posting and e-mailing a boycott to NOT buy gas on a specific day or weekend or some crap like that right??
Well, though I appreciate their enthusiasm and efforts, its just plain silly. Seriously The plain fact is most of us need gas to fuel our cars unless you are conveniently located to bike everywhere, which I fully support. Also while I am at it if you are one of those that live a couple of miles from work and you drive, SHAME ON YOU!
These Boycotts really do nothing more than have someone buy their gas on Monday instead of Friday or Saturday. Or maybe they fill up on Thursday before the weekend so they can wave their gas rally flag on the weekend. “Yeah we showed them”. PLEEEZ! you just boosted sales on different days its a total wash as far as I am concerned.
Look peeps the real way to hit these GREEDY earth raping ________ (Oil Companies) is to not buy their gas AT ALL. Do some research and buy ONLY US OIL, US Gas. I.E. Sinclar or Phillips 66/Conoco. yes I know you will never get fully away from foreign oil RIGHT NOW, but at least its better than the latter below.
